DIGITAL EYE – wireless contact lens display

Engineers have developed the world’s first wireless, computerized contact lens with an integrated LED display.

Babak Amir Parviz, an engineer led a team, which successfully displayed a single, remotely-controlled pixel onto a contact lens worn by a rabbit.

To create the computerized contact, the engineers embedded a circular antenna along the rim of the lens, and coupled it with a tiny LED via an integrated circuit. Using remote radio frequency transmission, the researchers can control the activity of the single pixel, which is situated at the center of the lens.

As of now this has been tested on animals only, It might soon be availble for human usage aswell with new reaserch going on. Then, may be we humans too can communicate like those robots from sci-films like terminator and iRobot.

The researchers describe their computerized contact lens in the latest issue of the Journal ofMicromechanics and Microengineering

Twitter's New Year Resolution.....I will not go over capacity

Popular micro-blogging site Twitterreportedly crashed yesterday as it was overloaded with New Year messages.

In Britain, the website crashed at 3 PM (local time) and was out of action for over an hour. It coincided with midnight celebrations in Japan when revellers were said to be sending a record 16,197 tweets per second.

The overload meant no one could post new messages or read existing ones. Instead, frustrated users were greeted with the error message: "Twitter is over capacity."

The site returned to working order but then stopped on several other occasions, prompting speculation that it was being hit by the arrival of New Year in different parts of the world

VEDIC MATHEMATICS

    Vedic Mathematics is the name given to the ancient system of Indian Mathematics which was rediscovered from the Vedas between 1911 and 1918 by Sri Bharati Krsna Tirthaji (1884-1960). According to his research all of mathematics is based on sixteen Sutras, or word-formulae. For example, 'Vertically and Crosswise` is one of these Sutras. These formulae describe the way the mind naturally works and are therefore a great help in directing the student to the appropriate method of solution.

Perhaps the most striking feature of the Vedic system is its coherence. Instead of a hotch-potch of unrelated techniques the whole system is beautifully interrelated and unified: the general multiplication method, for example, is easily reversed to allow one-line divisions and the simple squaring method can be reversed to give one-line square roots. And these are all easily understood. This unifying quality is very satisfying, it makes mathematics easy and enjoyable and encourages innovation.

In the Vedic system 'difficult' problems or huge sums can often be solved immediately by the Vedic method. These striking and beautiful methods are just a part of a complete system of mathematics which is far more systematic than the modern 'system'. Vedic Mathematics manifests the coherent and unified structure of mathematics and the methods are complementary, direct and easy.

This is a new Act going to confirm in USA and it can limit the use of internet. If you're in outside USA, you will think that "this is an Act in USA so there's no any harm". If the website content contains any unauthorized stuff, site can be block. Social networking sites like Twitter, Facebook, Myspace and also web hosting provides are in very danger because of this Act. As an example, in facebook, users are publishing various kind of stuffs, that stuffs can be contain some unauthorized things against to that SOPA law, then Facebook is in danger, thou it publish by normal user, the site owner should  responsible for it.  

Site owners will face various problems because of this Act.

As this harmful Act, most of the web content should be remove and also born of new sites reduces because of the SOPA law.
